Agroindustrias González presents itself as the origin of a family of companies that grow with the same purpose: producing with responsibility, quality and commitment to the territory. The brand is the group’s face to the end consumer: it runs three shops in Quito and one in Lago Agrio, and sells cuts sourced from the Borja farm, raised under the Welfair Certification, with traceability declared for the animal’s origin, its feed and its rearing conditions. Exafan Ecuador: What Does the Alliance Presented in Guayaquil Contribute?

Exafan Ecuador is the family’s most recent business unit, announced as part of the alliance with Exafan, a Spanish company with more than three decades of experience in Europe, specialising in technology for building and equipping pig farms. The launch was presented in Guayaquil, ahead of the First Business Meeting on Pig Farming in Ecuador, held on 13 and 14 November 2025. The announcement quotes Jorge González, manager of Agroindustrias González, and cites David Marcuello as Exafan’s director at that presentation of the alliance, which contributes design, equipment, climate control, automation and technical support solutions for the farms.
